Note on Impressum Obligation (§5 TMG)

Legacy League Cologne is a strictly non-commercial, non-profit community initiative. It is not a registered legal entity (e.g. eingetragener Verein), does not pursue any commercial purpose, and does not generate revenue or profit of any kind.

No Commercial Activity

Event entry fees (10 € per participant) are collected exclusively to cover direct costs — venue rental, prize support, and organisational materials. No funds are retained, no salaries are paid, and no surplus is accumulated. All activity is carried out on a fully voluntary basis.

Scope of §5 TMG

The mandatory Impressum under §5 TMG applies to telemedia that are operated geschäftsmäßig — i.e. on a sustained, commercially oriented basis. This website serves solely as an information platform for a non-profit community hobby event. It does not offer goods or services for sale, does not enter into commercial contracts, and is not operated with any economic intent. We therefore consider the formal Impressum obligation under §5 TMG to be inapplicable.
